Tilak Healthcare is developing a new form of digital medicine: prescribed mobile games used as diagnostic and rehabilitation tools for chronic diseases.
We are a team of seasoned game professionals and medical experts developing a technological platform of medical games that will allow health professionals to optimize the management of chronic diseases.
In a nutshell, Tilak Healthcare is a unique videogame studio where like-minded, passionate people create games to help others. Great games with therapeutic value: “You Play, We Care”
We retrieve clinically relevant data from the game and send it to the physicians in real-time to help them optimizing the interaction with their patients. It enables doctors to offer a customized healthcare process and treatment plan, adapted to the patients’ individual needs.
Tilak Healthcare benefits from the alliance of digital innovation and best clinical practices and is uniquely positioned to offer innovative screening, monitoring and treatment solutions for many chronic diseases.
More than 25% of the world population suffers from a chronic disease. Chronic diseases involve many health professionals whose skills are diverse and complementary.
Chronic diseases should be detected as quickly as possible to educate patients, follow them closely and adapt the treatment to the evolution of their pathology.
The management of chronic diseases has become a huge economic burden on health systems and payers throughout the world, accounting for 2/3 of total health expenditures in developed countries.
There is an urgent need to rethink the management of these pathologies, by mutating to a new form of medicine based on the patient needs. To achieve this goal, doctors need new tools and resources.
Our clinically validated medical games offer users a fun experience, while collecting and communicating medically relevant health data between doctor visits.
The first game is designed to monitor visual parameters of clinical relevance for patients suffering from macula diseases.
The macula is a pigmented area near the center of the retina responsible for high-acuity vision, which becomes impaired by diseases such as Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) and Diabetic Retinopathy.
The ophthalmologist will prescribe the game to selected patients and will follow the evolution of their medical parameters in a web based dashboard. Notifications will be sent in case the game detects a change that could prompt the physician to modify the patient’s treatment plan.
“YOU PLAY”: With our first game, patients will experience an amazing adventure around challenging puzzles with quality visuals of the highest standards, outstanding gameplay mechanics and engaging storytelling.
“WE CARE”: While patients play, the game will regularly monitor their visual parameters at a frequency pre-defined by their physicians.
A frictionless and fun experience!
